WinkBall have spoken to people in areas ranging from New York, Capetown, London, Birmingham and the Royals’ home city of Windsor. WinkBall have so far collected a variety of opinions from people of all ages and cultures. The advice offered by members of the public has followed a similar trend but has on some occasion presented the royal couple with some colourful guidance. The three key points of advice that the majority of people have offered to the couple have been honesty, trust and tolerance. These three things are considered to be the benchmark for what makes a successful relationship. This unique survey of opinion demonstrates some very interesting patterns! In London, for example, interviewees held widely contrasting views according to gender: 60% of men said honesty and communication were the vital ingredients of a successful relationship, but only 20% of women agreed.

Fascinatingly, there were similarities between male responses in London, Birmingham, Preston and South Africa. They all scored loyalty and trust as relatively unimportant in a relationship, but placed high regard on honesty and communication. In most locations including New York, women put a high emphasis on tolerance and compromise - except in Birmingham and Newcastle.

A. Be suspicious of “great deals,” free and low-priced offers. Legitimate businesses can’t afford to give away expensive trips and services.

B. Don’t be pressured into making snap decisions and purchases. Upstanding businesses don’t expect consumers to make snap judgments. If a caller states that a decision must be made immediately, it’s probably a scam.

C. Ask questions then do the homework. Find out exactly what is covered in the price and what isn’t.
Ask about additional charges and request the names of the hotel, airlines and restaurants included in the package.
