Several years ago the inspiration for Brewzkey came about during a golf outing with co-founder Clinton and a few of his college buddies. They grabbed a few brews on a hot summer afternoon and encountered an unexpected dilemma – no bottle opener! No one came prepared with a handy bottle opener. While trying to pry open the bottles unsuccessfully with their house and car keys (and teeth), the idea of a key shaped bottle opener was born. According to Clinton, “The opener needed to be sleek, cool and compact. And after multiple designs, cad drawings, prototypes and long days and nights, the Brewzkey was created.”
